Detailed Procedure for Diploma Examinations on June 06-12, 2026

Presents a detailed list of actions to be completed in order to take the diploma examination on the specified date. The section contains specific dates and constitutes a checklist, which is worth printing out and ticking off subsequent formal steps. Failure to meet the deadlines for the listed actions prevents participation in the diploma examination in the given session. The following actions should be performed in the described order, i.e., the next point can be carried out after completing the previous one.

1. Submission of Request for Thesis Confidentiality (optional step)

  • Who: student
  • When: by 30.04.2026
  • Mandatory actions:
    • none
  • Optional actions:
    • The application with the attached request and appendices (justification) should be submitted in USOS – PW eApplications before uploading the thesis to APD
  • Notes:
    • In USOS APD, in the fields: abstract, keywords, the student enters: "thesis confidential".
    • The thesis text is uploaded to the USOS-APD system,
    • The thesis text is transferred to the repository of written diploma theses,
    • The thesis text is checked in the Uniform Anti-plagiarism System (JSA),
    • The thesis text is not transferred to the WUT Knowledge Base

3. Checking the Diploma Thesis by the Supervisor

  • Who: supervisor
  • When: by 18.05.2026
  • Mandatory actions:
    • run the thesis through JSA and accept the results
    • approve the thesis
    • opinion issued by the supervisor in the USOS/APD system

4. Submission of Application for Admission to the Diploma Examination

  • Who: student
  • When: from 11.05.2026 to 20.05.2026
  • Mandatory actions:
    • submit the application in USOSweb
    • the application can only be submitted after the thesis has been accepted by the Supervisor and the opinion has been written.

5. Supplement

  • Who: student
  • When: Supplements are generated continuously based on submitted applications for admission to the diploma examination.
  • Mandatory actions:
    • USOSWeb: accept personal data
    • USOSWeb: submit the student's declaration regarding granting a license to WUT (electronically only)
    • decide on the number of diploma copies
    • pay the fee for the copies calculated by the system
    • In the supplement, check: diploma thesis topic, courses with grades, internship, additional information, note: the student ID number will only appear in the final version of the supplement).
    • If the supplement is sent back for correction, please send an email to: agnieszka.zgorzalek@pw.edu.pl with the subject: "supplement for correction '[student ID number]'".
