Division of Mechanics provide scientific services and teaching in following fields:
- General mechanics (statics, kinematics and dynamics, analytical mechanics)
- Mechanics of flight (basic mechanics of flight, flight performance, stability and controllability - static and dynamic, aeroelasticity, flight simulation)
- Dynamics of machines and structures (dynamic of mobile objects, numerical analysis, synthesis of mechanical systems, including wind power plants, motion stability, vibrations)
- Biomechanics (human body dynamics, optimalisation of human motion in sport disciplines)
