Important information about the registration for courses and for the next semester of studies.

!!!!! There will be no possibility to register for the courses outside the registration terms from the summer semester of academic year 2020/2021 !!!!!!

The first term of registration  - obligatory for all students

  • START DATE :         25.01.2021 from         00:00
  • END DATE :             14.02.2021 to             23:59

The second term of registration  - complementary

  • START DATE :         20.02.2021 from         00:00
  • END DATE :             06.03.2021 to             23:59

 Every student is obliged to register for the courses.

The lack of chosen the subjects for the 2021 summer semester will result in stricking from the register of students. (This is not applicable to the students, who have the 3-months extension for submitting the diploma thesis).

The students, who had been admitted for the second-cycle regular studies from the summer semester 2021:  The first or the second term – according to the registration status in USOS for the next stage of studies done by the Registration Office.

The students, who had been admitted for the second-cycle extra-mural studies from the summer semester 2021- are going to be registered for the subjects by the Deanery.

Registration of students for the next semester of studies (2021 summer semester)

The registration for the next semester of studies (summer semester 2021) will be held in February, 15-16, 2021.

After February 16, 2021 every student is obliged to check in USOSWeb system if the next stage of studies has been done and if it is visible. You should find this information in: student’s section- Promotions.

   - If you see the next promotion (stage of studies) (academic term 2021L) and the courses chosen in the first term are registered in the academic term 2021L, that means, that you are a student of the summer semester 2021.

-If there is no sign of the next promotion (stage of studies) (academic term 2021L), that means that you are NOT registered for the next semester of studies and the procedure of stricking you from the register of students has been initializing.

What you should do if you are not registered?

  • The students, who are going to take the diploma exam in March 2021 should submitt their diploma documents in the specific term (the March term will be announced at the Faculty website soon: https://www.meil.pw.edu.pl/MEiL/Studia/Studia-stacjonarne/Egzaminy-dyplomowe
  • If there is a lack of points for the registration for the next semester, you may:                

                        -- for the semesters V, VI and VII (first-cycle studies) and the semesters II, III and IV (second-cycle studies) – You may submit the application for the repetition of the semester (You may have two repetition during your studies due to the Academic Regulations).

                        -- for the other semesters in case of lacking the small number of ECTS points you may submit the application for conditional registration.

                        -- for the semester 7 (first-cycle studies) and for the semesters 3rd or 4th (second-cycle studies) you may submit the application for the 3-months extension for submitting the diploma thesis (you must have all the study programme completed, including the diploma seminar).

In case of positive response- in the USOSWeb you will find the information about registration for the next promotion (stage of studies) – summer semester 2021.

In case of negative response- you will  be informed by the Deanery via e-mail.

The processing of applications may take up to two weeks.

 
Minimum points required for conditional registration for the semesters:

Ist degree studies:

 

for the II sem. - 22 ECTS

for the III sem. - 44 ECTS

for the IV sem. - 68 ECTS

for the V sem. - 102 ECTS

for the VI sem. - 130 ECTS

for the VII sem. - 170 ECTS

 

IInd degree studies:

for the  II sem. - 22 ECTS

for the  III sem. - 50 ECTS

for the IV sem. - 80 ECTS  (for Aerospace Engineering/ Nuclear Power Engineering, Robotics)
